After retracing our steps from Wuhan, we literally stepped off the subway in Shanghai to our bus that was pulling away from our hotel to take our group to the after-party at a German restaurant. There, we meet the rest of the 320 TravelQuest eclipse chasers for an all-you-can drink party celebrating that they had gotten a fuzzy view of the Diamond Ring through clouds at Shanghai. However, we could not boogie the night away because we had an early flight to catch to Hong Kong. Bags out at 5:45 AM!

The three of us have found our way to Hong Kong with the intention of relaxing from our strenuous vacation. Hong Kong now appears to be one big shopping mall, with as much shopping below street level as there is above it. You can walk for miles amongst stores without ever seeing the sun. We went up to Victoria Peak and had the best meal of the trip and were treated to a spectacular view of the harbor. Now it is time to crash.
